Announcing Cellist, Olivia Walsh

We regret to say that due to unforseen reasons, Michael Kevin Jones is unable to make it to Canada to teach in our program this year.

The good news is that Jeff has secured another amazing cellist to join us and share her gifts of the cello with us during our Cello Focus program and she will be performing with Jeff Faragher at thier 'VOICES TWO" concerts on Thursday, June 23 at Memorial Hall in Silverton (Sponsored by Slocan Lake Gallery Society) and Saturday, June 25 at Cedar Hall during the Cello Focus Program. We assure you that you will thoroughly enjoy cellist, Olivia Walsh and her teaching style.

BIO: Cellist Olivia Walsh enjoys a varied schedule of teaching, orchestral and chamber playing, as well as conducting and adjudicating and studio recording. Originally from Edmonton, Alberta, Olivia graduated with a degree in Performance from the University of Alberta under the guidance of Tanya Prochazka. Olivia further pursued studies in conducting and pedagogy before settling with her family in the Okanagan. Since arriving in Kelowna in 2006, Olivia has enjoyed teaching throughout British Columbia, playing in both the Okanagan and Kamloops Symphonies, as well as teaching in Kelowna and Penticton.
