Chamber Strings 2019

Chamber Strings 2019 was the first time we had student Concertos and what a wonderful experience it was. THe lively Cello concerto audition was won by Taija Bibby and she played soloist in a Vivaldi Cello Concerto with the orchestra. The dynamic Bach Double Violin Concerto was played by soloists Jane Dyck and Megan Bibby. Afternoon sessions included the various chamber groups coached by our wonderful faculty Jeff Faragher, Olivia Walsh, Martine den Bok and Cvetozar Vutev (who showed up with a broken leg!) The Faculty concert was a true delight of wonderful music by the faculty joined by guest Double Bass player, Alex Nichol including the moving Crisantemi by Puccini.
