Cello Focus 2019

Cello Focus was a great success this year in June. We had a smaller group of 5 of us so Jeff passed the baton over to Michael van der Sloot to run the program. Michael had us working on the "Essentials on Sound" with bow technique, good intonation, and vibrato. He is a very good teacher, very clear and organized and he offered many opportunities for application during the weekend. saturday Night Jeff joined Michael for a wonderful concert of duets and MIchael played some of his composed pieces which were a pure delight. Sunday we offered the seniors at Mountain Lakes Senior Centre a recital of cello music played by Michael and the registrants. A great weekend indeed.
